How-To
Our nail wraps are completely self-adhesive and super easy to apply. If you are already familiar with nail wraps, you can have a look at our quick tutorial at
If you are completely new to nail wraps, here is a detailed instruction:
1. Clean your hands
Simple as it is, but this is quite crucial! Sometimes the moisture on your nails could stop the nail wraps sticking well.
So always make sure your hands are clean and dry before applying nail wraps! Personally sometimes I apply a base coat for a smoother nail surface.
Forgot to say, please do NOT buff your nails.
2. Choose the right size*
We include 10 (or 11 depending on the design) different sizes for each set. So you can always find a right size for your nail.
In some cases you don't find a perfect size, then you might need to trim the wider ones a little bit. This is quite easy, if you are unsure, have a look at our instruction video from above, or drop us an email!
Sorry I have to confess, we do not have the easiest nail wraps to apply, but you definitely get the least waste from us!
*right size: you want the nail wrap to be slightly smaller so you have a tiny bit of space on each side of your nails.
3. Remove the clear protective cover
As you might have noticed, there are clear thin plastic covers on top of each nail stickers. Please peel them off before sticking the nail wraps onto your nails.
4. Apply the nail wraps onto your nails
We finally get to this main step! Here you align the bottom of the nail wrap at your cuticle. But it is very important to leave a tiny tiny bit of space on the bottom! Once it is at the right place, press the nail wraps to cover your entire nail.
During the entire process, avoid touching the adhesive side and try not to stick the nail wraps and peel them off again and again.
Please make sure the nail wraps stick tight and there are no wrinkles on the surface. In case they don't stick well (like when the temperature is very low, the nail wraps could be hard; or it has glitters in, then they could be thick and hard), press onto them for a bit longer time. Or you can use a hair dryer to warm they up a little bit and then press onto them.
5. File off the excess
Use a file to shape the tip of your nails and remove the excess. It is important to always file the nails in the downward direction.
6. (Optional) Seal with top coat
For best salon effect and longer lasting result, we recommend applying a gel top coat. Please don't use nail polish top coat as they might melt the nail wraps!
7. After the application
Yes, one more step after the application. This is actually a crucial tip - do not submerge your hands in hot water for a long time or scratch any hard surface.
Hot water might affect the adhesiveness of the nail wraps, so they might peel off straight away or very soon. So wait for at least 2 hours, then you are free to enjoy a hot bath!
Also in the first couple of hours after application, the nail wraps might not be extremely sticky - they get more and more sticky over time. I once opened a package right after applying my new mani, then the tips of my nails got chipped. So don't be like me!
